Product Photo Etiquette- why adding your business name is important

Why you should add your business name to all product photos

Hey y'all I thought it would be a great time to discuss something I feel is very important to not only your growth but your success within your own small business.

So many now have a side hustle these days so it is hard to set yourself apart from others sometimes. One way you can do so is by making sure you always include your business name in your product photos. Even if you are doing a reel, ticktok, or anything having your business name within the frames can make the world of difference.

As people share and screenshot they might not always make a note of where they saw what they liked. However if you get in the habit of including your business name in everything before you show it online or wherever then you are helping to direct them to where they can get your items! Be sure it goes over the product as well and if you are using digital designs you have purchased from others- add something to protect the design itself is also very important.

Add your links into your bios on all your social medias as well. This way people can find where they can purchase from you more easily. If you are like me and have more than one link then simply create a linktree. There you can add multiple links even.

Another thing I would like to touch on is the photos you post. I don't know how often I will see photos showing dirty floors or clutter in the back ground. Y'all this is a turn off to potential customers sometimes. Sure they like to see how you make things but be aware of your surroundings when you take the photo. Get a nice backdrop if you need to. Staging photos is just as important.

Also lighting- you can purchase a cheap light ring on amazon. These will enhance your products which will make them more appealing to your customers. Personally I use a light ring I got from Whit Sims- go grab it here if you would like the same as I use. The sunlight also makes for a great way to have good lighting if you are on a budget. :) Just try not to edit your photos. People want to see what their item will look like when it arrives to them so using filters and such will only leave them in disappointment when your bleached white is actually a shade of burnt yellow.

I hope this helps a bit. If you ever need a logo created for your business I would be more than happy to help. Just shoot us an email- GeezLouise.Lisa@gmail.com
